it has begun

my brother just sent me a msg saying that oakland is having "voting irregularities", i.e., precinct chair called in "sick", no official dem crossover ballots onsite, everyone given provisional ballots, no id's being checked (dunno about that last one).

anyone have an update?

At my polling place in LA too to people who switched recently to be registered as dems. I didn't have a problem though. Been registered as dem forever at same address in same neighborhood. This was Gardner St by pan pacific park.

I'm not aware of any "crossover ballot" based on the little I've read. It's either, ask for a regular dem ballot, or be given a provisional ballot. But maybe there is a 3rd ballot ("crossover&quot .

How the polls choose to run themselves is of course another part of story.

Maybe not in that order but both are on the ballot. I assume that is what they
mean by cross over ballot.

...the provisional ballot. According to this post, a voter can demand a standard Democratic Ballot.
I am checking GDP for the post.

i've been getting that provisional ballot message out there myself. it appears not everyone has heard it, or the poll workers are giving them wrong info (as was also forecast).
