Bernie Group "June 16th "civility" will be enforced, so all you bernie bros better toe the line..."

Or... you can join me in jumping ship.

I'm officially leaving come June 16th.

Skinner wants to force us into silence... wants to force us into acceptance.
I wont be silent, and I wont accept. Not for him, not for anyone.
Silence and acceptance IS NOT democracy.
His message of put-up-and-shut-up will have me heading over to JPR.

If you're going to remain here, some of the changes are actually quite good... and may serve you well, and I wish you the best.

To anyone else, I hope to see you over at JPR.

It's been an honor.

so the odds of me seeing something that would be guaranteed to make me pop off is precipitously low. Probably around the Pagan and Cannabis boards.

JPR's level of activity is rising quickly.

I am too old to be silenced, so it is time to leave, or extremely limit my contact. If I can't disagree with another Democrat, even if it is the nominee of the party I belong to, then something is terribly wrong. There is a jury system to weed out people who really do go over the line, but to silence people is completely unacceptable. There is a word for that and I am shocked that it is taking place on this site. I, too have been coming here for many years. I am sorry to have to severely limit my time, or go away completely. I am struggling with this, but, I think I know what I have to do. It's very sad, and shocking that this is what it has come to.

the HRC group writ large. I think they are in for a bit of disappointment.

I'm not sure what Skinner's rules will be regarding discussing the email scandal though. That will be a possible sticking point for me.

To JPR. Next, deleting any calls for jury service and as of June 15....the ONLY THING we will do on DU, is read -- NEVER POST, again .

I won't be contributing to this site in order to serve on a jury. That's the very definition of plutocracy, not democracy.

the second she officially tossed her hat in the ring.

That was a cannon ball with a YUUGE message painted on the surface, beyond a glowing and ringing endorsement.

Indeed, though it was never stated outright, anyone who read that message understood that while we were attempting to put forward an FDR candidate in competition with their Neo Liberal/Neo Conservative candidate, it was going to be met with unbridled and unhinged resistance.

That was always their position, and it was never going to be any different, and sure enough we all witnessed that here.

Just remember, we tried hard and did our best to warn them of all the things about her as a candidate and as a politician they apparently did not and still do not want to see, or do not yet comprehend.

We gave them every predictable scenario which will unfold at some point or another. But they chose to reject the best Candidate they'll likely to ever see again in their lifetimes, the FDR of our lifetime, the most honest, moral and ethical candidate in our lifetime...

It's sad, but that's where they are and where they apparently will always be.

Now that we are officially stuck with that decision and the impending disaster in the upcoming months, we're going to have to sort out how to deal with the consequences of their decision.

Just exactly like we had to deal with the impending doom to come when Bush/Cheney got appointed.

We didn't need to have the specific details, we just knew it was going to be ugly and disastrous.

My advice, take personal stock of our lives and make some serious plans now cuz it's going to be Ground Hog Day 2.0.

see ya'll over on the other side I hope!

Don't forget that

See ya at JPR, it's super great over there. But I will tell you, even tho we all support Bernie there is some debate there as well.
The difference is the debates are based on reality. And intelligent conversations.
