(36,063 posts)I've been waiting to hear this unfortunately MSNBC cut-away as he got to speaking of the movement and this terribly slow Lenova won't live-stream.
So I'll have to find a transcript later.

(3,431 posts)the party. Fine, but I don't see any advice about
a new organization or even groups.
He wants obviously for people to get inside the
party for change, and I doubt that this will work.
The party is so corrupt and stale, and will resist
any changes at all.
In that sense I was disappointed with his speech,
sorry to say.

(41,103 posts)mean he's out now, correct? So maybe he will do that depending how other things and the convention work out, how I see it.
Added: I also wonder why there's been no more mention of Castro as VP with his Latino appeal unless he has negatives. And the names tossed around by pundits concern me, mainly conservatives- Tim Kaine, Corey Booker, somebody else. Oh, Sherrod brown, wow.

(11,431 posts)But if he changed to Green party or back to independant he wouldnt have any say at convention or be allowed to go. Right now he has some say, if he went off on his own with the same zero media no one would pay attention but us.
I think he is torn between wanting to continue movement and figuring how to do it.

(633 posts)"The major political task that we face in the next five months is to make certain that Donald Trump is defeated and defeated badly. And I personally intend to begin my role in that process in a very short period of time."
If he suspends now, can he re-enter and get a roll call vote if Clinton was to drop precipitously in the polls?

(3,431 posts)his plan to go to the convention. I am not sure whether
he will ask for a roll call, but he wants to make changes
in the platform and perhaps in primary rules.
In case of the second one, he won't succeed, because
it is up to each individual state to set their own rules.
