Sorry about that...but, on this topic...
Judging by former Sec. Kerry's urgent appeals at the end of last month when the Foreign Affairs Committee pushed a new Iran sanctions bill forward, I would say that Sen Sanders has good reasons (and finds himself in good company) in voting against the combined new Iran/Russia sanctions, today.
As the rethugs continue to unwind and destroy every practical step forward that President Obama's administration accomplished, it's much more disturbing to me that so many senators of my party decided to simply ignore the threat that voting in favor of the dual sanctions bill now places on one of his most important achievements, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. John Kerry worked his ass off to get that Iran nuclear deal implemented and Trump has been frothing at the mouth to undo it and go after Iran...I fail to see today's vote as any sort of plus, specifically in regard to Pres. Obama's legacy.
I guess we shall just have to wait and see what Rouhani does now.
