Facebook Video: Bernie Sanders' Response to Collapse of GOP Health-Care Bill

https://www.facebook.com/senatorsanders/videos/10156148449652908/

What our efforts in the fight against the disastrous Republican health care bill show is that when we stand together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. But defeating a terrible piece of legislation is obviously not our ultimate goal.

We must go forward in guaranteeing health care to every man, woman and child in this country through a Medicare-for-all, single-payer program.

They brag about their employer paid plans and insist they want "choice".

They're saying everyone doesn't deserve the same quality of health care they have, but hey, they're okay so why fight for the folks who are struggling? Like Republicans in Congress who will never have to worry about their health care - they're set for life while the rest of us are screwed.

Medicare for All is the way to go and now the majority of Democrats finally support it. What was once characterized as a socialist pipe dream is now the goal. It may not happen soon but it will happen.

that I've read that opposition right here on DU, which used to eagerly support single payer, and now posts opposition simply because the left is for it.
