A sign of Hillary feeling The Bern????

Does anyone else view Hillary all but announcing Castro as her VP pick THIS early in the primary process as a sign that she feels herself in more trouble than she'd like with Bernie's candidacy??

Bernie is pulling in serious campaign (not PAC) dollars -- finance laws say Hillary's can only go back to that smaller well so many times, while Bernie can keep dipping. He also gets the benefit of saying he can't be bought, while her campaign sucks up PAC $$$.

Bernie has an energized base, that is also now getting angry at what they see as attempts by the Party and media to quell The Bern. Hillary's campaign is not as energized and is depending on Party Leadership (*cough* DWS *cough*) to have her back specifically.

Hillary has been forced to play the Wiggle Room game on TPP, trying to placate the Left while giving a wink and a nod to the PTB that she will indeed play ball.

And now she floats Castro/gets his endorsement just when Bernie gets Raul's endorsement and is beginning his campaign to make headway in the Latino community.

I see all this as a clear sign Clinton is SERIOUSLY feeling The Bern!

So I don't think making the relationship slightly more formal is much of a sign of anything.

JUST formal enough she can dump him if anyone else appears that she thinks would improve her chances a fraction of a percentage point...

that Castro was being groomed for VP. What I find unusual is her talking it up this early in a primary. I cannot remember the last time a candidate themselves floated their VP choice at this point. Reeks of her trying to nail down what she sees as the Latino vote early on.

Plus it's clear that HRC/DWS have no natural sense of timing/rhythm. Instead they try to play by second guessing everything. Trying to get a bump out of picking Castro now would not be surprising.

HRC supporters seem to have reached a new level of frantic, spamming us with messages that she's winning, winning, WINNING!!! If they flap much harder, they're going to reach escape velocity.

Maybe he would like to be Bernie's vice president. That, of course, is not a serious suggestion but it would be fun to see how people would react.

it could be a sign of concern that Bernie is making inroads with both the black and latino communities.

By the way, after the debates, I am still feeling the Bern, I am not feeling the Chafe.
