Trying to convert DU Hillary supporters is a waste of time.
They don't try to convert anyone, their corporate plan is to discourage and confuse Bernie supporters.
When our enthusiasm becomes tepid we aren't motivated to vote in the primary and Hills wins
The double edged sword is that if we don't vote in the GE Hills loses. So here comes the Democratic party loyalty oaths to regain our support.
The 2 party system is divisive in itself and the People's Revolution is a unifier. Bernie is creating an AMERICAN Party inclusive of disgruntled Repubs, Independents and progressive dems, a surefire winner.
We need to keep our eyes open and see this manipulation for what it is

(9,497 posts)Best to focus on the real world and get Bernie introduced to as many people as possible. I am going to caucus for him!

(14,255 posts)As a matter of fact, the heavy-handed attempts to demoralize are cracking me up - like the political equivalent of "Reefer Madness" or something. And about as effective.
I do notice that some have stopped beginning with the always comical "I am a big Bernie supporter, BUT" bullshit. So that's a nice change.

(10,345 posts)I never really acknowledged it but.. You're absolutely right.
I have never seen a Hillary supporter try to convince anyone of Hillary's message. They really do spend the majority of their time knocking others.
Even when I've literally asked what the hell Hillary was talking about or what she really stands for I just get scoffed at or mocked even.
Manipulation is exactly what it is.

(14,691 posts)if the Hillarians are sooo concerned about MY vote and that I won't fall in line eventually, then they need to take an industrial-strength chill pill.

LMAO. Sensitive, they are.
Also, I cringe when I see any of them posting here. I know em when I sees em, their icons all point to the right.

(2,450 posts)From the moment election season begins to the primary election, the window for idealism is wide open. It closes the next day.
Hillary supporters strike me as either centrist at heart or scared of change. That she's a woman is a major plus for single issue voters - which is a fair point, but it's not enough. If you care about politics, the blood sport that it is, Hillary is the way to go. But if governance is your priority, she is clearly the wrong person to vote for in the primary.
That she's good on social issues is not nearly enough, but that's me.
