16. My only problem with this pics is, they don't really show the diversity of the crowd

I was there, one of the older members of the group from the greater Kansas City area. There were young people (Bernie's millennial supporters) and old; it looks like a lot of 'old hippies' from the 60s era (like me) are willing to take another chance. There has been a lot of talk about the way that millennials have been disillusioned by politics; fact is, a lot of people from the other generations had given up as well.

Oh, and you can forget the sh!t about Bernie's supporters being 'all white.' I saw black, white, and Latino in the crowd. During the rally, before the march across the Women of Achievement Bridge, we had a Black Baptist minister, the Rev. Travis Winfield, whipping up the crowd for Bernie; there was also a choir from his church performing.

We had a wonderful drumline group, the Metro Youth Drill Team, all black kids, leading the march across the bridge along with Bernie.
