Hillary Who?

I have NEVER heard that. I didn't hear it in 2007/08 and I haven't heard it yet in this election cycle. There are very few people in the US that don't know Hillary Clinton. She has a worldwide presence and is known by nearly everyone.

However, I've heard "Bernie who?" hundreds of times. I'll likely hear it thousands of times by the time the primaries come into full swing.

There is no plateau right now. The polls are essentially meaningless right now. Hillary has a set number of voters firmly in her camp and that's it. There are few if any undecideds for her to shift her way.

Bernie on the other hand has millions yet to get to know him. He has millions struggling day to day that need to hear his message and will embrace his platform as soon as they hear it.

We've just started this election. GOTV, get out the message, and stay positive.

5. There are lots of non political voters that don't know Bernie.

When I hear "Bernie who?" my first question is are you registered to vote? I get a "yes" often.

It's our job to get those voters (and those yet to register) to feel the Bern.

13. So I went into Steak and Shake tonite to order some food to go.

The drive up was swamped. To avoid a 1/2 hour wait to order, I decided to go inside to order. I walk in and the manager takes my order. There were only 2 customers, sitting down eating. I informed him the drive up was back logged. So he pulls a worker(probably 21) cleaning tables and tells him to start cooking burgers. To my surprise, the employee barks back and says, " You got me doing tables, cooking burgers, and the drive up, cashier. I should be making 4 times my salary". The manager walks away to the back of the room, as though to ignore him. The employee goes to cooking my burgers and he's mumbling. I pipe up and say, "Hey, I can help you with your salary issue. It's quite simple, just vote for Bernie". He says, "Yeah my friends have been talking a lot about him".
I told him, "Listen dude, if you would like to obtain free college tuition, and increase the minimum wage to 15 an hour", then you owe it to yourself to check him out. It's your future, not mine".

He turns around and smiles. This tells me several things. The word is getting out there. Millennials are crucial to this upcoming vote. And I'm pretty sure he is going to research it and hopefully "Feel the Bern".

It made my day.

Depends on which week you're talking about.


Yes, the Clinton brand is as known as Coke. Many will vote for the familiar name. Many will think she's another Bill.

Many of those familiar name voters will have heard of Bernie by the time the primaries come around.

Bill's coattails didn't work out so well in 2008 and that was a time when the economy and market had just been destroyed.

10. Hillary Who? is an excellent post.

My friends come to visit me and they have never heard of Bernie. They know I
am a Democrat so they want to say nice things about Hillary.

I correct them but Hillary is imbedded in their minds. I have just
ordered some Bernie signs along with my paltry $10.00 donation.

The Bernie signs will go on my garage right next to my Dennis
Kucinich signs. Everybody in my town will know who
Bernie is. I have three busy churches within a quarter-mile
of my garage and in this circumference I have two schools
and a 24/7 gas station! I will post pictures to show-off soon enough!

I'm aware of it because I FELT THE BERN a long time ago. Am part of helping get his name recognized in my very Red County handing out flyers and information. Bought shirts and bumper stickers a long time ago, but more things have been added.

of Bernie Sanders and currently have no idea why he would make the best US President ever.

17. The real problem is the coattails she has.

The down ticket races will be flooded by new Republican blood as people come out to vote against her.

Bernie however brings a message of hope and we all know how that helped us in 2008. Granted, that was squandered for the benefit of the 1%, but I truly believe Bernie is a different politician than Obama is.
