Comment from the "sexist" and "racist" candidate last night

“They told white workers who were earning pennies an hour, ‘Hey, you think you’re in trouble, but you’re better off than the blacks,'” he said. “And they told straight people, ‘You’re better off than those gay people.’ And they pitted men against women. It’s always playing one group against another. That’s how the rich got richer while everybody else was fighting each other. Our job is to build a nation in which we all stand together.”

Attack your opponent on their strengths.

It's sad when an alleged Democrat uses Republican smear tactics.

Nothing has changed. I'm sure she'll still get the "hard-working white voter" support again.

Sick and sad.

who according to Clinton supporters are bunch of racists even though many of us supported Obama over Clinton back In 2008 and
did what we could so he would be elected in 2008 and 2012.I certinly never suggested SC primary should be dismissed because jesse jackson won it In 1984 and 1988 as Bill Clinton did after obama won.Of course according to them I must be the racist and he the enlighten one

Now Bernie supporters are being called sexist even though many would have supported Elizabeth Warren for president

The Clintons are up to their old tricks.Go tell me after 2008 that Clintons have great history with blacks.some of us can remember
things.

16. Exactly! And people here acting as if no such thing happened in 2008. The Clintons weren't racists.

They weren't deliberately employing the Southern Strategy. They didn't go on Faux News. Bill didn't hang out with Rush Limbaugh on his talk show like they're best buds.

Just like Bill Clinton go around the country in 1996 bragging about how he signed DOMA into law.

Naw! That NEVER happened. We must be complete idiots to recall history the way it actually happened.

I'm not really sold on any candidate, but at the very least, Bernie Sanders has more integrity on his baby toenail than the Clintons will ever have.

This is what we'll NEVER hear on rightwing media:

Our job is to build a nation in which we all stand together as one people. And you are right, there is a lot of anger being generated, a lot of hatred being generated against Muslims in this country, that's absolutely correct. There is hatred being generated against immigrants in this country. And if you stand for anything we have got to stand together and end all forms of racism, and I will lead that effort as president of the United States.

Thanks for posting the photo of Remaz Abdelgader. She has an incredibly expressive face. Now I remember a commenter yesterday said that Bernie's speech at GMU brought tears to their eyes, especially his remarks on Islamophobia.

We need this man.

He put it together in a few short sentences.

The American people need to hear this.

Gender and race enclaves need to ponder it.

We cannot, we must not, turn against each other. We need each other if we're ever going to turn this country around.

United we stand, divided we fall. True at our first revolution. True now.
