"They all did well."
They didn't. OMalley and Sanders did. HRC was not good, not....at...all.
Watch Bernie get a bump in SC. OMalley may also. Expect HRC to remain in the lead, but for the race to tighten a bit.
Smelling spin when it stinks.

(6,604 posts)it doesn't surprise me.
Clinton is great at making declarative statements without actually declaring anything.

(3,544 posts)She doubled down on her statement about "cut it out" regarding wall street. And how did that work out for her at the time?
Bernie nailed it, AGAIN, with more clarity and some humor. Hillary got better at spreading fluff.

(41,600 posts)O'Malley did fine, except for the requisite Bernie jabs. Bernie killed it. Hillary? Just Hillary - same spin, just a different day and very boring.
I didn't notice much applause for Hillary either.

(51,907 posts)This is a very important distinction to draw between their debates and ours. Tonight and the previous debate pretty much shout "Want to work on actual problems? Come over to this side."

(812 posts)HRC fans love to remind us how she's better than the repubs.
So maybe the repubs should campaign on the idea that they're better than the Nazis or the Soviets?

(51,907 posts)But third parties can't win nationally, so if we can't get Sanders the nomination, we have to keep up the fight anyway. Sanders will put our car in Drive, but if we can't get that, Neutral with Clinton is still better than hard Reverse with any Republican. If the car is in Neutral, a mass movement can still push it forward.

(14,733 posts)As long as the media TELLS everyone that Hillary did well, many of the people who didn't watch the forum will 'know' that she did well, and will be swayed to feel that much more positive towards her, and she'll get a bump in the polls. Then, the media will use that bump in the polls as 'proof' that she did well.
I'd say 'and so on, ad nauseum', but really we reach that point already.
