Pulled from Reddit. Amazing Investigation by rhetstudent there.

After finding out that Kroll was the company hired to do the investigation on the data breach, I've been doing a lot of research on exactly how the DNC and Kroll are related. I knew they were connected, but its honestly insane how biased theyre going to be in this investigation. Please share this far and wide, and spread the news on just how unfair this investigation is.
So lets get started. First of all, I found that Kroll is owned by Providence Equity Partners Inc. When they bought Altegrity, Inc., they expanded the business partly by adding Kroll Inc.:

Altegrity has approximately 18k clients lobbying in the Senate and House combined:

Their president and CEO, Thomas Hartley, also worked for Bain and Company:
http://www.bloomberg.com/research/st...e=Kroll,%20Inc.
Going back as far as 2000, Bain and Company has contributed to HRC and DWS's campaigns:

In 2012, when Garth Williams, CFO of Kroll, was working as VP and Assistant Controller, International for American Tower Corporation, his company gave $61,600 to the DNC. They also gave to the Democratic Executive Committee of Florida, where DWS serves.
Williamss background:

ATC campaign contributions:

Okay, so what about the bigger company, Providence Equity Partners Inc.? Richard D. Parsons, chairman of Citigroup, HRCs biggest campaign contributor, is also a Senior Advisor for this company.
Citigroups contributions to HRCs campaign:
https://www.opensecrets.org/politici...9&cycle=Career
Biography for Parsons:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/administr...embers/parsons
In 2013, Parsons gave $15,000 to the DNC:
http://www.opensecrets.org/usearch/?...cof=FORID%3A11
And in June of this year, he made the maximum individual contribution of $2,700 to HRCs campaign:

Im sure there is a lot more to it than this, but its Christmas Eve, and this is honestly all the time I have to investigate the various connections between Kroll and the establishment today. Basic takeaway? Providence/Kroll/Atlegrity is absurdly connected to the DNC.

(19,326 posts)or at least the "proof" being offered up, falls way short of proving anything, except that
Bernie simply agreed to an independent audit, NOT to Kroll being the auditor.
Yet this claim is being repeatedly made, like here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=944070
...and here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=943931
I have pointed out that this is bullshit, here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=944568
...and here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1251&pid=944545
If this one Politico article's quote is ALL this claim is being "supported" by then it is
complete bullshit and needs to be called-out.

(23,720 posts)Senator Sanders has emphasized more than once that he want's an independent audit from day one. If I'm not mistaken it was submitted to the court when the Sander's campaign filed suit last Friday.

And, I hope Bernie's campaign is reading this and/or we should send this info to them so they can ask.
BTW, my company would be impartial. We've worked with the FBI for many years and we've worked with some Republicans (we are based in a red state, so that would be expected), but, AFAIK, we've never worked with anyone in the Democratic Party (see: we are in a red state - there's very few to work with).
I'm not impartial, of course, but I'm not an analyst and wouldn't be doing that work.

(2,419 posts)If he doesn't know Kroll's corporate tool pedigree and agrees to Kroll as an auditor, I will a) be disappointed and b) reduce my support for him as presidential candidate.
I love the fact that he's a principled idealist, but agreeing to Kroll would make him a NAIVE principled idealist. And it's a dangerous world.

(39,215 posts)place - hiring all those Hillary supporters to help you run the DNC. Wake up - find someone who is truly independent and will be transparent.
If the DNC goes ahead with this it is nothing more than a cover up and it will be seen that way. As far as I know Bernie did not say yes to Kroll. This is just another decision made by DWS without any approval from others.
