"...The Vermont senator seems to be establishing a significant lead against fellow Democratic Party presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton, with Fox News January polls tipping Sanders to be ahead of Clinton by a 50-37 percent margin among New Hampshire Democratic primary voters.

The increase in Sanders’ lead will come as great news to the crusading senator, who has previously been tipped to defeat Clinton and prevail over Trump in another recent poll carried out by Quinnipiac University. But Bernie Sanders has nonetheless often found himself sidelined when it comes to polls conducted by the mainstream media, and to find himself leading significantly against Hillary Clinton in a major poll will no doubt give his campaign the boost it might need in the race for Democratic nomination.

According to the poll, Sanders has seen his advantage over Clinton increase dramatically since mid-November, when he was projected to edge out Clinton by merely one percent.

Bernie Sanders may be most proud of his ever-increasing support pool of young people, with the Fox poll showing that the Vermont senator is especially well-liked, and in fact preferred over Hillary Clinton, by voters under the age of 45. There is little doubt that Bernie appears to have struck a chord with young voters, most of whom believe that addressing issues of Wall Street reform and tax reforms are the most important criteria in selecting the next President of the United States. As the poll showed, young voters picked Sanders over Clinton by a remarkable 24-point margin (55-31 percent)..."

5. I would prefer to see

Senator Warren stay in the Senate, where she can help build a majority there, be a leader on a committee and help get legislation passed.

I want to see Gabby Giffords nominated as VP. I think she would be fantastic as VP.

I'd love to see her as VP but she'll have less clout there. We really need her in the Senate and Bernie will need her there too.

I look forward to her presidential run in 2020 or 2024.

9. Not me, I want Warren as VP

We need two strong reformers in office...a backup...and that team would be unbeatable.
Let others step up and take her place...she has no seniority and no power.
But as VP she could have a lot of power and I suspect that under Sanders she would.

14. Yes, she can do a lot n the Senate. However,

when it comes to this election, and you need to have a HUGE turnout, there are lot of people that would show up in droves to the polls if she was Bernie's VP choice.

If you're thinking in terms of another progressive filling her seat, remember she if from Mass. There should be no problem finding an equally qualified person to fill Senator Warrens shoes.

This was discussed here before the holidays. The premise was that Warren would inspire a really big turnout if her name was also on the ticket. And she's a woman so it seems voters would likely get excited having, at least, the first woman Vice President. And she could be an even louder voice on the issues she cares deeply about. Much louder than being in the Senate.

Think about it Sabbat Hunter. There is no doubt in my mind (and many others) it would be the talk of the country that a female is a VP pick. CNN, CBS, ABC, and the others would be stumbling all over themselves to get an interview with the first woman VP pick. She would be on the cover of Time and all the other magazines. It would be Yuuuuge!

If anyone else thinks I'm blowing smoke, please tell me. But I think I'm hitting the nail on the head on this.

Something the old fogies (of which I am now one) tend to forget. Just because we vote much more regularly as we get older, doesn't mean that at some point these young kids will be doing the same.
