Let them sink

There are going to be a lot of silly attacks from team weathervane for the next few weeks and they will probably only get worse.

If you have to read them in order to talk to other Democrats in real life and counter such distorted bull then fine.

But let them sink.

Don't respond.

If you feel strongly then word a post addressing the issue with evidence in your own pro Bernie post.

But let the lying attacks and characterizations sink.

Let them sink into the sea. Trash them if it helps. Share more positive Bernie posts and if you see one you like kick, recommend, and like them.

Just let the air out of their ballon and take the wind out of their vane. I would give you a list of people to ignore but what would be the point. Just stop responding and let them have their sock puppet theater at the bottom of the list.

After all, if you can't laugh at yourself, you force other people to do it for you.

Many of us have been pushed out of this site by organized baiting and banning. Their worst offenders always seem to appeal and come back when they break the rules. Our only resort is what we are best at. Postivite posts about policy.

The seven emotional stages of grief are usually understood to be shock or disbelief, denial, bargaining, guilt, anger, depression, and acceptance/hope. Symptoms of grief can be emotional, physical, social, or religious in nature

My understanding, by the way, is that the seven stages are not necessarily consecutive, and that going through the grief-processing may be about alternating between the various coping strategies.

and it either reinforces their current opinion, or asks them to change something within. I'm now learning whose threads to open and the ones I don't care for and just slowly walk away. It's good self-discipline, I think...maybe?

Ignore is an absolute last resort, but there are a few on this website that are worthy of it.

I am not fond of it as a solution. Trashing the threads so I cannot see them is better for my mental health. Too many of us jump on those to try to argue with people that are merely baiting and trolling. The Rovian arguments and statements they use are proof of that.
