- Configurable main directory (e.g. all files below "/sdcard/music" or "/sdcard/audiobooks", individual for each player)

and a participating library card there is a free app called Hoopla with free multimedia available (ebooks, movies, etc). Just download the app and sign up w your library card and you get to borrow up to 8 titles a month.

i've got new stuff of my own but it's all copyrighted 
I have no idea how they put out all of these books for free, but there is some really good stuff. I'm reading the Wayward Pines series right now.
You can also read the Fifty Shades of Grey books if you're so inclined.
