Can I get some kicks and recs for the wonderful people in our community who support each other?

I posted a week or so ago about a job loss and some other things. I wouldn't have made it through the month if it hadn't been for the incredible people around me who stepped up and helped me out.

I wanted to post something like this before, but hadn't gotten around to it. I think this is a fitting place. Thank you to whoever came up with it--it's a great idea

In the center of human life are those who hold it together. They make home what it is. They listen to "leaders", receive, decide. Whatever country is, whatever a profession, a town--they establish that.

--William Stafford

A heartfelt thank you to all those who hold it together. You are those who make the world a better place.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]If it hadn't been for the kindness of neighbors and even complete strangers, there were times in the past that I'm not sure I would have made it, either.

Hang in there.

hardship brings brother/sister -hood
it's the basis of much military training

we as working poor should really embrace this

politicians try to split us: they say: he's a this, she's a that, those are that....we are "the working poor', we are a clan in a way, in reality a huge group of people both nationally and internationally
we have more in common than we have that sets us apart

*jumps off soapbox* sorry

you are right!
