Political wives have to stand by their man.
Don't be too harsh on her.

(28,813 posts)I have said repeatedly that Dr Hill has all the right in the world to not accept his apology. Now we have the right to move on. No one is going to beg. Supporters dont want him to beg. The only alternative is to move on.

At 76 years of age , I just feel he AND 77 year old Bernie Sanders are both too old to best represent our party in 2020. I would like voters to get behind one of several excellent younger candidates. THAT is what my journal is about.

(67,782 posts)....eight years as Vice President. Now he's a threat to some candidates and it's coming out again. As though he hasn't done anything or accomplished anything since 1991.
He's apologized a number of times in a number of ways, but it's just not "pure" enough for some.

(12,344 posts)I've never brought up or made any negative comment about anything a candidate has done in the past and I never will. I've only commented on how the candidate and his or her supporters respond to negative information and on how I think it affects the candidate's chances.
In this particular case, I've simply pointed out that something that was also a problem for Hillary and Kerry will also be a problem for him. Hillary had it even worse, because she was also blamed for things Bill did.

Now you are just making your own demands. Nothing to do with Anita Hill. The exact situation I reference above. Im glad you were willing to go there that quick.

(3,259 posts)Personally moving on from holding it against Biden. To do so and use her as a personal political tool would be to cheapen her.
You see, I actually support Hill speaking out. Ive said so many times. I dont support using her as a personal political tool. I appreciate the clear words you used. I appreciate the post of yours you highlighted from Bidens time as VP.
