Seems like there's no movement on choosing a candidate.

I always watch the percentages at the top of the page in this forum.
They haven’t changed in a week or so.
Have people just been more interested in Mueller report and other things or just waiting for the June debates to pick a candidate?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Neither my husband nor I will be seriously looking at the candidates until probably fall. We'll wait until things start to drop into place--the weaker candidates get discouraged, the rest of the country start to pay attention, the scandals and pretend-scandals have a first airing....the next few months may bring huge changes to the field and then we will see what we see.

Y'all who want to play the early game, go right ahead.

I went ahead and picked Warren because I really wanted her to run in 16.

The waiting approach is very wise!

Pollsters say people are paying attention in unusually high numbers already, but everyone knows we're ridiculously far out right now. The newish media/elections industry is trying to fill the empty months that serve no one but them with a pack of fake "town halls" and debates, but we're still most of a year from the primaries.

So as Maeve says. Like her and RKP, I see no point in involving with a candidate now who may not be viable, or even running, later on.

7. I actually decided to go back to "undecided"

I love several candidates & I'm enjoying seeing all of the candidates develop.

I allowed myself to get too over the top in '16...like accepting crap as facts that I wouldn't ordinarily have done, all in the pursuit of a particular candidate. I'm not doing that this time. I did choose one of my favorites early, Sen Harris, but I decided to switch back to undecided because I do support several of the candidates and so far I've donated to five of them.

8. Patience, the first round of debates aren't for awhile, then you might see some movement

"The first debate will be held on June 26th and 27th in Miami, Florida, and will be broadcast live on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo.

The second debate will be held on July 30th and 31st in Detroit, Michigan, and will be broadcast live on CNN."

The lineups for both sets of debates will be chosen at random from the candidates who qualify, with half taking the stage on the first night, and half taking the stage on the second night.

To qualify, candidates must register at least one percent support in three independent state and national polls determined by the DNC. Candidates must also receive at least 65,000 unique donations, including at least 200 from 20 different states. The DNC has capped the number of debate-eligible candidates at 20. If more than 20 candidates qualify, polling averages and donation numbers will factor into how those who make the cut are determined.

I think a lot of Democrats just want Trump gone and someone to fix the mess.

Even while W was a shitty President there wasn't the issue of needing to built up destroyed institutions again.

but it's still early and other candidates have time to prove they can be effective .
