Im excited to see how Pete performs on a big stage.
Im also interested to see if Warren and Sanders challenge each other.

(2,113 posts)Klobuchar always surprises me in a good way and I end up liking her more than I expected to.
Kamala because I want to give her one last chance to impress me. I have wanted to like her so badly but each time I have watched I've come away a bit disappointed. I love her when she is questioning people in hearings, too. I want to see if maybe the times I've seen her were just off days.

(3,764 posts)I voted for Bernie last time. But I like Harris, O'Rourke, Castro and Inslee also. And I don't really know anything about Yang.

(28,769 posts)well, there are a couple exceptions. I'm eager to see how Inslee does as well as Castro, Booker, and my previous 1st choice, Kamala Harris.

(58,785 posts)candidates are of interest. Will Booker finally break out? Same for the others "jammed in the doorway" of course, but a lot of analysts seem to see Booker as the biggest underperformer for his potential. Is he calling for reparations now as a black issue he can command in this debate?
Inslee in particular for me. Used to be I just wanted his message on the stage. Now I'm also curious how much attention the climate crisis will command from them all.

(10,862 posts)Will she come off as a serious candidate or just as a motivational speaker.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
Hortensis
(58,785 posts)pretty sure. She's as good a speaker as Sarah Palin and at least 5 times more intelligent and 10 times more informed. From what I saw in an interview, she might talk spirituality in terms of compassion and involvement in politics, but dump the mysticism in favor of talking foreign affairs.
Whatever, should be interesting. My guess is she'll gain support even though she's about as well equipped to be president as she is to run for and become chief of surgery at Walter Reed.
She's a former Sanders backer, so she might draw supporters from him and from some other current 1%ers, but how about new interest from the kind who don't vote most of the time?

(6,226 posts)I would love to see a Biden/Harris ticket. Harris would then have a national presence and be aligned to be President. Americans are way behind when it comes to electing women leaders.

(3,275 posts)I have seen many debates where it is all (usually white) men. I have seen a few debates that are all men and one woman. I'm looking forward to seeing Warren, Harris, Gillibrand and Klobuchar up on stage debating each other. Gabbard and Williamson will also be there.
I'm interested in what every candidate has to say. There are a few candidates that I like a lot but I'm still undecided. I want to keep an open mind.

(3,145 posts)Bernie because while I don't think he has a realistic chance, will hammer the issues that matter the most, holding everyone's feet to the fire (I hope). I really like Warren, I expect her to be either nominee or VP nominee.
I want to see Yang and Pete go at it; they are both so sharp.
