Why can't some media say Kamala. It's a , (punctuation)

If you are not interested enuf to learn how to properly pronounce a candidates name, you are not qualified to go on tv to critique them.

It’s , (you know a comma) lah
It’s Bet (like what you place in gambling) Oh.
It’s Boot Edge Edge

Come on, media folks, you can at least get a candidates name right before you rip into them.

Thanks for letting me vent a little about a pet peeve.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

You’re almost better off with a name like Buttigieg. The media (or anyone) looks at it and says, ok, I give up, help me out here. And then word gets around. His far more difficult name probably gets mispronounced less than hers.

Kamala looks similar to Pamela - so my initial instinct was that the two names rhymed.
Beto looks similar to Beta - so my initial instinct was that the first syllable was pronounced like the first syllable in Beta.
Buttigieg - well, on that one I just threw up my hands and didn't even try - honestly, I still can't spell it by memory.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
