Who is the MSNBC commentator in the pink shirt...she's my new favorite

She is 100% right about the snark thrown at Beto. He is the ONLY one who is a palatable compromise for the moderate and progressive wings of the Democratic Party and so many are trying their damn best to kneecap him when he is THE BEST SHOT to beat Trump.

When he couldn't manage to beat Ted Cruz. I like him but there are others who have a better shot. Buttigieg has a better shot. So do Warren, Harris and Biden. There's a reason Trump is going after Biden. He has him the most worried.

7. Democrats NEED people like me to vote for their candidate to win

I am a moderate Independent. I live in a red district of a battleground state. Beto is the ONLY one running that appeals to me. Only one. He's the BEST candidate Democrats have had in my lifetime for mobilizing a massive movement to change politics all over this country.

Regarding Cruz...any one of the other candidates running for president would have been SLAUGHTERED by at least 10 points against Cruz. Beto turned Texas into a battleground state.

As for Beto beating Trump...Beto's canvassers in Texas are reporting that Beto is beating Trump in at least one dark red district with even Republicans. Not a single person canvassed by a woman tweeting updates said they supported Biden. Warren got 2 mentions. Beto got like 33, Trump got 20 and 27 undecided.

Beto is the ONLY one who WILL win Texas. Biden won't. Castro won't.

Contrary to some others' assertions she is emphatically no longer a Republican. I think she is pretty much in accord with Steve Schmidt, who has said the Republican Party is rotted at its core and needs to die.

She worked for Dubya. She worked for McCain's campaign -- was put in charge of bringing Sarah Palin up to snuff, and was so horrified by Palin that she ultimately did not vote for McCain, and has said so. I think she really admired John McCain, but coming out and saying that got her disinvited to his funeral.

Yes, she was a never-Trumper from the start. That doesn't mean she is a Democrat. She doesn't have to be, imo.

I make a point of watching her program. She has a rare gift of putting together good panels with diverse people and letting them finish what they are saying.
