Most of the pundits are wildly off the mark in their assessment of the 2020 election.

They have no idea how irate many of us are. Their drivel is tiring. I don’t want middle of the road solutions. We’ve compromised so much since Reagan, we could be considered Eisenhower republicans in many ways.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Criticizing all the candidates. I just turned them off when Danny Deutsch insisted that not a single candidate would be able to win against Trump. He made me think he wants and expects another circus like the last election. He must think the only way to deal with Trump is to try to be crazier than Trump. I just turned it off. Pundits can be such a bore!

And can't forget this one

DEUTSCH: Women want to be her, men want to mate with her. it's as simple as that. ... Men want a sexy woman. Women want to idealize about a sexy woman. She's the perfect age...she's still young enough to have that physical appeal. That's the perfect ingredient to sell a woman in power.

And we're sick, sick, sick of the Trump show. Come Fall 2020, many Republicans will be sick of him too. It takes the mentally compromised longer to catch up.

I agree with you and I’m not that liberal I’m closer to what a Nixon-Ford era moderate Republican used to be.

We Democrats have made so many so-called “middle of the road” compromises with Republican reactionaries that the only way to further “compromise” is to go off the shoulder on the far side and into the ditch.

The pundits don’t get it: we Democrats are very much aware that the opposition isn’t anything like our grandparents’ Republican Party and doesn’t deserve to be treated as such.
