I changed my pick! (Sort of)

Long before anyone announced their candidacies for President, I had decided my favorite was Amy Klobuchar. I've long been a fan of her from seeing her on Rachel Maddow's show. She strikes me as someone who is very smart, tough, but also very friendly. And I hate to say it, but likability is important.

When the story broke about how she was abusive to some staff and she never seemed to gain any traction in the polls, I decided to back Pete Buttigieg.

But since this is about who we would vote for if the primary was held today, I shouldn't let her low polling influence my decision.

So I'm going back to Klobuchar. I'm gonna do my part to try and get her up in the polls.

I have thought highly of her for a long time for the same reasons you stated. If she were to somehow win the nomination, I would feel completely confident in her as a campaigner and as an adversary to Trump.
