Painting the guy who was the first black President's VP and good friend as a racist......what a joke.

She won the exchange obviously, and had him flustered big time......so it worked I guess.

Still way out of line........

She criticized a specific anti-busing stance by Biden.

It's tough for Biden to explain or defend positions he held decades ago, but that goes with his presidential bid, and he needs to be much more nimble with answers.

(Credit to the epic Game of Thrones, Ned Stark... )

But yes, the quote applies, unfortunately.

This sentence formation seeks to inextricably attach the loaded word to the individual named in the sentence.
Like saying "I don't think she's fat, but..." or "He's really not an asshole, but" or ....

Regrettably, I believe it was intentional. It clearly was pre-planned.

... also Kristin Gillibrand. But I even question why was Sanders included on the dais, since he's not a member of our Party. He takes every opportunity to criticize our Party and our Democratic leaders.

The younger ones - Buttigieg, Swalwell, O'Rourke, and perhaps even Gabbard - are the future of our Party. They aren't the heavy hitters now but they will be in the future. Kamala Harris was in that group, but she's just crossed over (in my opinion) into the inner circle of actual leaders of today.

I still think Joe Biden has what it takes to bring this home. I really enjoyed the 2nd night's debate much more than the 1st night.

C'mon, we're not FR, we can face the truth.

Marianne Williamson was dreadful but entertaining
Joe blew it.
Eric Swalwell didn't help himself - at all.
BS was belligerent, as usual, and full of himself.

That's okay, we need to winnow down the field for the next debate.

...to say that many of our observations are not correct. One of us is enamored with Bernie and his style and holds forth that he is "an old school True Believer who knows how to fight the good fight and not be distracted by the noise of his critics". Another observer, not a supporter of Bernie, sees the same style and same message and holds forth with the same conviction that Bernie's time has passed and we need something new and more progressive, or more mainstream and less radical. The differences are in us, let's not forget that.
