failures at race relations may not have won many people of color over, but he was absolutely honest about his own failings and that is so rare in any politician. I mean, that's the first time I can even remember that happening, and you've got to admire it.

It was a singular moment.

I don't think it hurt him a bit, but he will still have to really pour it on with the AA community to gain their trust and support.

I am a Buttigieg supporter and wasn’t sure what others would make of the moment.

I too was taken aback, but relieved to hear truth instead of obvious insulting to my intelligence lies.
