We are about to allow race issues of 40 years ago to divide us into a bad situation for 2020.

Instead of attacking each other over ageism, civil rights, etc. Democrats should be exciting the base to get out and vote against Trump and the GOP. Policies fine. There is not a dimes bit of difference in what policies the Democrats would support. We need our base to get out and vote for Democrats at ALL levels, in ALL races.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

As our schools and conventional wisdom led us to believe. Not everyone wants to admit it. And not everyone has the credibility to convince some of us that they can and will work towards solutions for addressing the ongoing racial biases and hostilities that are still very present in government policies and accepted as part of mainstream US culture.

in my metro area, we had a majority black public school lose its accreditation 5 years ago, and so they started busing them to a majority white school in the exurbs. They were met with hostility and racism.

Don't talk about race. Now's not the right time. We might upset the white folk.

We'll let you know when it's ok to bring it up. In the meantime, just sit tight and be quiet about it.

if you can't handle it i suggest tuning out .

in fact i was thinking of tuning out a bit but mostly because i saw Trump on tv and just got so disgusted with him and his creepy fucking daughter meeting with world leaders. i'm already ready to support whoever is the nominee and for the election to get here.
