Why VP Biden has my respect.. He never lets anyone disrespect Pres Obama

Not even in his own debate situation.. he has had his back from day one and will not back down..

Former Vice President Joe Biden pushed back against NBC debate moderator Chuck Todd after Todd said President Obama was unable to achieve his major climate goals.

“I think you so underestimate what Barack Obama did,” Biden said. “He was the first man to bring together the entire world, 196 nations to come together to commit to deal with climate change so I don’t buy that.”
Biden was referencing Obama’s work in convening the Paris climate accord. President Trump pledged to remove the U.S. from the agreement, and Biden and several other candidates have said they would recommit the U.S. to the accord on day one.

He is always able to come to the defense of others so much better than he does for himself.. That is why I know he would be such a good President..because you have to do that.. not for your own glory..but for the betterment of everyone else.. You may get a lot of mud and dirt on you and people look down on you for digging us out of the hole, that the republicans put us in every time.. but we have been so blessed to have people like President Obama, VP Biden, Jimmy Carter etc.. makes me proud to be a Democrat!

11. A Historic Commitment to Protecting the Environment and Addressing the Impacts of Climate Change
Fri Jun 28, 2019, 01:06 PM
Jun 2019
President Obama believes that no challenge poses a greater threat to our children, our planet, and future generations than climate change — and that no other country on Earth is better equipped to lead the world towards a solution.

That’s why under President Obama’s leadership, the United States has done more to combat climate change than ever before, while growing the economy. In fact, since the President took office, carbon emissions have decreased 9 percent, while the U.S. economy grew more than 10 percent.

Much more...

So much was being done and then it all came to a screeching halt.

We have to get it back

Or hiding behind Obama's apron strings.

Criticism of Biden and his record is not criticism of Obama.

More importantly Obama is not the sweet baby Jesus. No one is above criticism. Biden, while he was VP, advocated for deep cuts to social programs in order to make a "grand bargain" with republicans. Thank goodness the republicans never took him up on that offer.

Both Biden and Obama deserve criticism for making that offer. And saying that doesn't mean I don't think Obama wasn't an important president.

They... President Obama and VP Biden deserve our thanks for all the hell they went through to try and save people..or have you already forgotten people hundreds at a time, lining up for free clinics to get the basic care..
