They're undemocratic. They exclude anyone who can't take the time from work during the specific window of time that the caucus takes place. They typically take LONGER than simply showing up at a polling place to vote.

There's no secret-ballot.

Caucus goers are intimidated and bullied.

It's a complete DISASTER of a system and should be eliminated. So should "open primaries".

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Caucuses are subject to bullying by candidate surrogates/"agents" in the caucus room

Open primaries are subject to allowing non-Democrats to participate in choosing our candidate.

I wish all states had closed primaries so that ONLY Democrats participate in choosing our candidate using secret ballots.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

...will go to primaries. I don't know which (one of the Dakotas?) but one state in 2016 had a caucus AND a "non-binding" primary. What's the point of that?

That's a preliminary list as of a few weeks ago, there will be changes, and lots of states haven't even established dates yet.

Super Tuesday will likely be even worse for him than it was in 2016.

This is why talk of him being a favorite is so ridiculous.

After Super Tuesday, we will probably be left with no more than 3 or 4 contenders. And possibly just 2 or even 1.

Making matters worse for him is that it's likely he'll do worse in IA and NH than he did in 2016. After that, the road gets very rough.
