I predict the July 31st debate will be Anyone But Biden![]() He's going to be in between Booker and Harris who have taken several aims at him. And from my recollection only Yang and Gabbard in this group haven't made a political/policy hit on him yet. And for several of the candidates across both nights the prospect of dropping out is coming closer so this might be last chance saloon to try and make some gains in the polls. He has to be ready to respond.

. . . and great, great assets to trump's re-election campaign

10. eric swalwell basically turned up to jab at biden
"pass the torch"
then immediately bowed out of the race others will target their entire debate strategy to knock him rest assured. i want joe to come out of it having absorbed the blows and delivering a few of his own though precisely because attacking him is a strategy that helps trump. as i said he needs to be ready. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

17. While I won't say any American, I would say most Americans of legal age would be "vast improvement"
Most people haven't got a clue as to the resources that the President of the United States has to do this
job on a daily bases. A person of normal or almost normal intelligence that is open minded, not racist, and meets the qualifications would do better than Trump. Why? Trump is not "normal." Leave it to the psychologists and the historians to prove this, but this is true. ...Trump is not open minded. He thinks he knows it all and never apologizes if he makes a mistake. But more important, he rarely listens. Also, with a mistake, instead of saying something apologetic, he doubles down on the mistake even if it is obvious to everyone he is wrong. Perfect example: Trump has doubled down on being critical of the four democratic congress women. Was that yesterday or today?. Is this "stupid" "relevant" or "normal"? Donald Trump is not some TV salesman, he is the President of the United States, and cannot even "shut up" when necessary. My guess is, (only a guess) that his staff has told him to lay off those people in congress. And lay off the, "Send them back to their country crap" He cannot shut up and leave something alone that is dangerous for his party and his position as leader of the U.S.A. But he doesn't care. Yes, it is all about him, even if he is totally wrong about something. And that proves the above post. Most people in the U.S.A. would learn from their mistakes, and shut up when necessary. Here is a link that proves he has doubled down. from "The Hill" . written by By Justin Wise - 07/21/19 08:21 AM EDT (two days ago) : https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/454035-trump-doubles-down-says-minority-congresswomen-should-apologize-to ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

18. Joe won't lose..but.
He has to be cautious and protect his lead. So we should expect any revelations or fireworks from him.
That will allow the others to stake more populous ground that resonates with the viewers. So we can expect some other candidate to have the best performance. Biden's coalition seems pretty solid so other candidates have to get voters from among non-Biden supporters. That seems to be the case with the gains Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris have made. The flip side is that Biden has to gain support from people who like Sanders, Harris, Warren etc. And since he hast to play cautious he can't appeal to the left of the party. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |
