Last question: Tapper asks Buttigieg if he opposes capital punishment even in this case. Buttigieg gives the best response about capital punishment I've ever heard: If you're against it, you're against it. There are plenty of examples of heinous crimes where perhaps the perpetrator deserves to die. But he's never met anyone who deserves to kill.

(8,197 posts)Tapper points out that many of the worst mass shootings have happened in Texas. Castro says open carry, concealed carry is legal in Texas, and in a crowded Walmart people were packing. But that didn't deter the shooter.
I was away for a bit; sounds like I missed Booker. I'll bet he spoke eloquently.
