I believe it's customary for broadcasters to use a 7 second or so delay so that they can bleep out inappropriate language. MSNBC did not bleep out Tim Ryan's use of the "S" word.

Profanity when used in proper context is not obscene. It is appropriate in expressing true disgust at what is NOT being done for the betterment of the country.
