CNN Poll: Joe Biden regains double-digit lead over 2020 Democratic field

Joe Biden has expanded his edge over the Democratic field in a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, with 29% of Democratic and Democratic-leaning registered voters saying they back the former vice president.

That's up 7 points compared with a late June CNN survey. No other candidate has made meaningful gains over that time.

The shift returns Biden to a double-digit lead over his nearest competitors, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders at 15% and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 14%. Their support is largely unchanged since earlier this summer.

Still a long way out - but he is kicking everyone's arse right now....
If I were to vote in a presidential

After Trump I think we need a stabilizer. One who can get things done, fix our economy, move the country forward.

We will not have that until we clean house in the Senate. No matter if we elect the best. I hope the ground crew that Obama and Holder are building, fixes that.

I do not want another angry person in the WhiteHouse. We have had enough finger pointing, shouting, bluster to last a lifetime.

In the Biden case, the attacks looked and were staged complete with pictures and T-shirts for sale. People don't like this sort of thing. Harris was an adorable child however...darling picture.

When I work campaigns...we have limits to what we can say...can't attack other candidates as you go door to door or phone...whatever because, we are taught, it impacts the candidate negatively when you attack the other candidate-particularly true in a primary I think. Sometimes, it is the best course of action and the attacks make an important point so the candidate is willing to take the hit in order to bring it to light. I don't think Sen. Harris's attacks were important enough in the Biden case and as for Gabbard, it just simply backfired.

Good for you. I have been involved in County campaigns on issues. We were not allowed to get into politics.

Then, as a Poll worker we were very careful not to step over a line. I worked with Republicans who followed the rules the same way I did.
