Supporting the democratic principles of government of, by and for the people, including the sacredness of the vote, is the closest I come to religion.

If I was so ruthlessly determined that my candidate should win that I'd support oversetting the popular vote and trashing democracy, I'd vote for a Republican. They're so much better at it.
