Pretending that the Democratic Party is not progressive. Medicare for All has been around since the forties. Ted Kennedy said that universal health care is a right and not a privilege since the '70s, the Clinton administration tried for universal health care in the early '90s. The Fight for Fifteen minimum wage started in 2012. He takes Warren's policies and hikes up the numbers, as he always does to appear more progressive. Seven minute abs (Google it).

But career politicians often check the direction of the wind before talking, especially during a campaign year.

Tried and true establishment strategy.

strategy as his own is offensive, especially as so often he's opportunistically adopting something he criticized in them.
