After fretting a long while about whether I could afford it (I can’t, but it was too important to me to pass up the opportunity), I finally bit the bullet and bought a ticket for a reception in my area in mid-late October, with the justification that this would likely be my best chance to actually meet him in person, before his campaign hits the Big Time (as I’m convinced it will, in the next few months). Will be fun to compare notes!
