I suppose most people have seen this. The Morning Joe hosts were incredulous about Joe's lead over trump and how trump fears Biden. It's woth watching if you haven't watched it live.

Biden's numbers against Trump have been consistently high, far higher (unfortunately) than HRC's at the same time in the process. Biden's state polls--in those we lost in the 2016 electoral college--are beating Trump better than any other candidate; the EC is where this battle will be won or lost. And . . . Biden is the only candidate with hands-on foreign policy experience. Right now? World order is collapsing in good measure to alt-right incursion, Russia, China and Iran.

Biden is the best candidate to kick Trump and his enablers to the curb and stop the madness.

Biden said from Day 1:

Donald Trump is an existential threat to the country. This is a struggle for the soul of the nation.

Is there anyone who can honestly say they don't believe that now, that Joe was putting the horse before the carriage?

Our survival as a democratic Republic is hanging by a thread. We need the candidate with the widest reach and appeal and the best qualifications to put the pieces of government back together.

That's Joe Biden.

.... since Joe decided to run. it's a shame there are so many people who would like to see Joe Biden, a 10-point winner, out of the race just to be replaced by a three to five point winner. We'll see about tomorrow, and every tomorrow after that up to the primary election. Barring Joe Biden's sudden demise, I don't think much will change. Of course, it's just my opinion.

13. Actually amazes me there are those who want to bum-rush Biden out the door for a less qualified

and experienced candidate with less wide a margin to win against Trump.

Also astounding is that at a time when we desperately need foreign policy leadership for the sake of the whole world, Biden’s strength in this crucial area could be overlooked for more transformative but less sensible policies, many of which have a snowball’s chance in hell of being implemented, and some that could very well tip the election to Trump.

The electability picture can only be gleaned a snapshot in time at a time, but Biden will still have superior job-specific qualifications to any other in the field.

The Trump machine is certainly afraid of his candidacy and for the media he’s too sure a thing to be exciting, too tested so therefore not an unfolding political experiment.

I say it is no time to fool around. Go with the guy we know can do the job because he’s done the closest to it for years. And yes, he’s got “the best words” when it comes to Trump and he means them.

Incisive post! People voted for Trump because he was a moldy entertaining reality TV show host. Now even Democrats seem to think that a presidential candidate needs to do tricks and entertain them.
