I hope Senator Klobuchar gets a campaign bump

for what Minneapolis' Mayor Frey announced. She deserves it.

Guessing they might have planned the Trump rally payment announcement together.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Fine. But then why's she so pro-military? How does a non-interventionist military work? ancianita Oct 2019 #6

But this is the first I have heard of the connection. So if she gets a bump, it will have to come from elsewhere.

It surprises me too. Some regard her as a non-interventionist.

The more you spend on the military, the less likely you will ever have to deploy them. Bonkers, dishonest, but oh well.

exactly representational.

I'm actually very sure Klobuchar has far, far more support here than Gabbard, members not bots or those who've soaked up the Kool-Aid about mainstream liberal governors, senators, etc.

I don't talk about Klobuchar these days, but she's a very competent moderate-liberal senator, appropriate for her state's population -- and notably some major Democratic factions, such as POC -- if not as strongly liberal as I personally would like. If she somehow moved into the top tier, she would undoubtedly be the first choice of many and also a welcome "second" choice for those who still preferred her competition.

Contrast that with Gabbard, who'd be a symptom of grave dysfunction threatening to destroy us. There are real reasons Russia promoted her. I'd need someone to drive me to and from the polls and the mood stabilizer and sleeping aid I've so far avoided to get me through the coming months. Won't happen but horrible even imagining.
