Hillary on Tulsi Gabbard

Last edited Fri Oct 18, 2019, 11:48 AM - Edit history (2)

Hillary Clinton doesn't just predict the Russians will support Tulsi Gabbard as a third-party candidate; she also calls Jill Stein "a Russian asset -- I mean totally."

Full context:

She's not wrong...

which is the age at which she was elected to congress as a democrat.
I have trouble believing she has any plans to help republicans in any way.
And it is equally incomprehensible that Russians had plans for her since age 21.

From wiki:
Tulsi Gabbard (/ˈtʌlsi ˈɡæbərd/; born April 12, 1981) is an American politician and military combat veteran serving as the U.S. Representative for Hawaii's 2nd congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, she became the first Samoan American and the first practicing Hindu[a] member of Congress upon her election. In January 2019, Gabbard became the first female combat veteran to run for U.S. president.

We do not agree with much of her agenda, but she is not pro-republican.

And you miss the point. She’s not pro Republican, though she appears on Tucker Carlson because all she does is bash Clinton (staunchly anti-Russian) and defend foreign policy views that are oddly pro-Russia and very disturbing.

Her primary focuses are keeping dictator and mass butcher Bashar Assad of Syria in power, and pro western isolationism, two bizarre views that coincide with Russia’s interests. She calls the civil war in Syria started by Assad to put down the sunni majority protesting for democracy an attempt at “regime change” she strongly opposes.

145. Saddam Hussein was a more horrible butcher than Assad
Sat Oct 19, 2019, 10:14 AM
Oct 2019

Saddam's prisons area legend. But how has attacking Saddam Hussein worked out for us?
It has to be the worst foreign policy blunder since Vietnam war. $8 Trillion spent in middle-east wars
since Iraq war started by Bush-43, thousands of brave American young soldiers killed, more thousands
maimed, and close to million civilians killed in middle-east.

ISIS never gets created if Saddam was left alone. Keep in mind main reason Bin Laden hated America was
presence of American military in Arab-land. We can not afford to play role of middle-east policeman with the
ugly $22,000,000,000,000 national debt and climbing every year thanks to Trump's spending.

So it is hard for me to fault Tulsi's agenda of staying out of regime change wars in middle-east.
History and experience so far favors her agenda.

a Russian agent. With her connections, I believe Hillary has always known a great deal we don't.

Btw, how about Gabbard backing up her unforgivable slander: "personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long"? Are all the minority and women Democrats in office as Democrats supposed to be evidence of rot? The ACA, perhaps, which we have the nerve to expect all those angry RW billionaires to pay taxes toward?

She also called Hillary the queen of corruption, when 30 years of Republican "investigation-as-attack" have always proven she is not. Gabbard cannot back up that lie either. No politician is as proven clean as Hillary.

We do know the Republican Party, NOT ours, is rotten to the core, intensely corrupt, corrupted, and corrupting. The Republican leadership serves our new plutocrat classes who used the Republicans to become kleptocrats. That the Republican Party is also heavily infiltrated, influenced and funded by Russia is well documented by our intelligence services, the Mueller Report, and investigative journalists.

The Democratic Party is the big enemy both Russia and the kleptocrats must destroy if they are to prevail and take over our nation. So what's terribly wrong with Gabbard that she's not intensely proud to be a Democrat and would slander us like that?

Hillary Clinton suggests Putin has kompromat on Trump, Russia will back Tulsi Gabbard third-party bid
...
Gabbard won’t be happy to hear Hillary Clinton’s latest interview. Nor will President Trump or another of Clinton’s 2016 opponents, whom Clinton has now lodged similar accusations about.

In a conversation on former Obama campaign manager David Plouffe’s podcast, Clinton suggested the Russians are leveraging a number of top U.S. politicians. She suggested Russia had kompromat on Trump. She accused 2016 Green Party nominee Jill Stein of being a “Russian asset.” And she suggested Russia might back Gabbard as a third-party candidate.

“They’re also going to do third-party again,” Clinton said. “I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on someone who’s currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She’s the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far.”

some limbo transcripts are avail through iheart (search lim... + iheart + gabbard) so don't have to go to his site.

the show segment headline - Self-Described Progressive Digs Tulsi Gabbard - Jun 28, 2019

why wouldn't the kremlin be calling talk radio shows like limbo's - reaching millions with garbage like this - they've likely been doing it for years, influencing talk radio for at least a decade back to getting mccain to pick palin in 2008 - thanks to mccain cochair manafort and limbo holding back support until minutes after mccain picked her.

before this they spewed complete bullshit about how limbo likes to hear from liberals and moves them to the front of the caller line - reads like a rehearsed gabbard love-fest and suggests more to come

notice the ref to 'regime (ex)change wars'

RUSH: Well, if you're progressive, why or what is it about this program you like?

CALLER: It's just pure entertainment. It just shows the separation of this country and really what we need to get back to. People on the left are just as bad. Don't get me started on Obama and Hillary. I mean, I have as much disdain for those guys as I do for Trump. I mean, (unintelligible) we're gonna end up being just -- America wants us, you know? And I really think we're on the right side of history now. I think Crazy Bernie, I'd like to have Crazy Bernie. I'd gladly vote for him, but he's not my choice right now.

RUSH: Well, who is? You got these 20 people running, which of them appeals to you the most?

CALLER: There’s some comedy out there too. Tulsi Gabbard. We need her bad.

RUSH: Well, you know who loves Tulsi Gabbard?

CALLER: Who?

RUSH: Pat Buchanan. Pat Buchanan wrote a column yesterday extolling her value. He thinks that Trump ought to get rid of John Bolton and hire Tulsi Gabbard.

CALLER: Well, I agree completely.

RUSH: Okay. Well, why do you agree with that? What is it about Tulsi that you dig?

CALLER: She gives the idea that these regime exchange wars -- exchanging wars are just -- it's over. We have to stop doing all this. We have to -- don't get me wrong. She's for America for all, good jobs, good pay, she's for everything, but she's a progressive as well. But her main focus is to get out of these silly wars. And Trump even called them stupid wars. And that's why when he beat Hillary, I didn't like --

RUSH: Well, that's exactly why Buchanan loves her. Buchanan doesn't want any part of these wars. He thought Trump was gonna get us out of these wars and when Trump hired Bolton, you know, Buchanan had to go grab the rosary beads. It was so unlike what he thought Trump was gonna do. Then we had the debate the other night and Tulsi Gabbard really laid into somebody else on that -- who was it that she laid into?

(prompting)

CALLER: I can't remember who it was. I think it was the guy from Ohio. He tried to make it sound like the Taliban. He just showed his ignorance.

RUSH: Oh, it was Tim Ryan. Tim Ryan. He got it confused. He thought the Taliban had conducted the 9/11 attacks.

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: And he said we gotta keep troops there, we gotta keep troops there, its’ a dangerous place. She said, no, we don't, we've been there forever, nothing changes, we need to get out, and she was speaking as an Afghanistan vet.

CALLER: Oh, she's a vet, she's on the foreign affairs, she’s been in the military for 16 years. She's served in Iraq. I mean, she's really cool, Rush. She's been a congresswoman for six years in Hawaii. I mean, she's the real deal.

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: I think America would do well if we would get Tulsi in there.

RUSH: And she wants to serve, you know, she wants to serve people.

CALLER: Absolutely.

RUSH: Kelly, she makes it clear that she is about service.

You know the type. The ones who claim to be open minded and objective - "they're all crooks, both sides do it, blah blah blah" - but for some reason, they only seem to spout right wing talking points and criticize Democrats.

And they think they're showing me they're not ideological by telling me they vote people not party and, in fact, could vote for Gabbard because she's "reasonable" and has "some great ideas" (which they can't name if pressed).

If I were to vote in a presidential

Fri Oct 18, 2019, 12:48 PM

haven't read much yet but seems to give talk radio/limbo major blame for this trump disaster

talk radio's america -how an industry took over a political party that took over the united states, by brian rosenwald

the political and media analysts need to read that before they go too much farther with analysis blaming the usual culprits, altho at first glance, altho it looks heavily researched, there don't seem to be any references to foreign influence.

any dem strategist who doesn't get the message needs to be fired

40. Hillary's trolling Gabbard like a boss
Fri Oct 18, 2019, 12:28 PM
Oct 2019

She knows that Gabbard either has to stay quiet and just let that float out there or try to defend herself, thereby admitting that she thinks she fits the description Hillary laid out.

Bill Cosby had a routine (yes, I know - bear with me here) - in which one of his high school classmates put a bullet in the radiator and it blew up. The shop teacher asks, "Who put the bullet in the radiator?" No one answers. So he says, "You know, your mother has to be pretty low down for you to put a bullet in the radiator," whereupon one of the students blurts out "I didn't put the bullet in the radiator and stop talking about my Mama!"

Fri Oct 18, 2019, 12:09 PM

A full Russian influence campaign will include agitation of the extreme left to support unelectable fringe candidates -- they must fragment the democratic vote and suppress enthusiasm/unity behind the eventual nominee.

Like clockwork, the trolls will start showing up on these pages with posts about how the front runner is not left enough, or outside enough to shake things up. Misery and disappointment when your favored primary candidant doesn't win LOVES company. Even if that company works for a troll farm in Russia.

Innoculating against this onslaught remains challenging because the targets (including many of us here) refuse to accept that we are being played.

Fri Oct 18, 2019, 04:47 PM
Oct 2019

1992. Bill Clinton made it a strategy policy to quickly and decisively put down and destroy RW talking points.

2004. John Kerry waited too long to address the swiftboater bs. He thought it would go away.

We have to get on top of this NOW before it's too late and Gabbard gains traction enough as a 3rd party candidate.

There are left leaning Independents and even some registered Dems who can be lured by anti war positions into voting for a 3rd party runner.

There are conservatives among Independents and even registered Pubs who dislike Traitor Don now that they see just how bad he is.

We now have both centrist and progressive primary candidates. A 3rd party candidate could stir up dissatisfaction among Dems whose preference doesn't get the.nomination.

That's 3 groups that a 3rd party runner might draw votes from. Not enough to win but enough to be a spoiler.

Remember that not all voters and not all Dems follow politics as closely as we do so they can be fooled by phony position posturing on some issues.

The stakes are much too high to be complacent and assume that 3rd party voters wouldn't have voted Dem anyway.

When someone says "Someone took a cookie out of the cookie jar", and as a response you scream like a madman and throw around insults, then that doesn't seem like the reaction of someone who has nothing to hide.

I, for one, totally trust Hillary Clinton's opinion. She has proven her trustworthiness and intelligence through her years of service. She has given us years of her life. She is a good, honest lady and for Gabbard to say mean things about her is total ignorance on Gabbards part. Hillary has earned our respect.

comes across as something that undermines Dems and our push to ensure our country isn't taken over completely by the fascists.

Here's what she said after Barr "cleared" the President upon the release of the Mueller Report:

Not the kind of Democrat who is standing up against the rise of fascism in America. She's subtly pushing the idea we should fear removing Trump.

She bashes Dems a lot for someone running as a Dem.

EVERY SINGLE PREDICTION! THANK GOD SHE CALLED THAT RUSSIAN ASSET ASSHOLE OUT!

By doing so in such a public way, it kind of knocks the legs out of what Tulsi was trying to do.

For months now, we've observed that Russian and GOP bots have been lifting Gabbard up, pairing her with Sanders, etc. It's so obvious! Again, thank God someone with a megaphone finally said it.

The DNC must remove KGaBbard immediately!
