Joe definitely does not need to win Iowa (or even New Hampshire tho he's looking okay in New Hampshire).

Warren and Sanders on the other hand...losing Iowa and New Hampshire will not bode well for either of them.

The Monmouth sample is slightly over 50% Mod/Con ...In 2016 the NBC Iowa Exit Poll explicitly indicated Mod/Cons comprised just 31% of the Vote A proper ideological sampling places Bernie at 16% ………..

But eventually, rational thought overcame my biases, and I had to face the fact that Sanders is doing much more poorly than even he thought.

Todays outlier is tomorrows polling trend. He could end up being the nominee so he needs to be treated with respect.

Sanders. She was doing well in expanding her appeal until she tried to out-left Bernie and amped up her class warfare campaign.
