Florida...Trumps last stand

Just read a great piece on Florida ( can't post it from phone but it is from today if you want to Google it). Trumps team has concluded that there is likely zero path to win without Florida. They have set aside 300 million to spend in Florida alone and plan on keeping Trump there almost half the campaign . Good news is demographic changes favor Democrats, along with influx of 69k Puerto Ricans that are pissed. Downside, the GOP leads slightly with new registrations since 2016 but that doesn't count for those that register as independent. Florida would make it an early election night folks..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

My guess is most of the Puerto Ricans that came to Florida registered as democrats. They will greatly offset the old Cuban vote, which leans decisively republican, younger Cubans are more mixed politically.

One thing that people are missing is Trump changing his residence to Florida. That would technically make him a favored son candidate in 2020. The only Presidential candidate to lose his home state in memory was Al Gore in 2000. I am more concerned about that. Defeating a favorite son candidate Trump will be a significant life, but he is so polarizing that I believe Dems in my home state can pull it off.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
