Hortensis
(58,785 posts)who know him well. If you want to attack the party leadership, oh well, but let's at least admit that it was CNN, MSNBC etc who didn't do the debates the way you want. Perhaps you don't know, but candidates themselves want phony commercial "debates" and got rid of the kind of real ones the League of Women Voters put on. Safer, a lot more room to waffle instead of giving real answers and more opportunity for posturing and attacks.
Justice Democrats are playing their usual hostile anti-Democratic role, no doubt have attacks already designed and written up they hate to waste.

(270 posts)That's just poor grammar...
I think what they are trying to say is that Sander's and Warren's online, small dollar contributors have kept their coffers full.
"ideologically motivated" is redundant considering all contributors have a political bias and by the choice of words is telling.

(67,782 posts)A contributor has given an average of more than ELEVEN TIMES A DAY from the day Sanders' campaign began until the end of June, and has given a total of $2,821 (OVER the limit!) That's a "small dollar contributor"?

Their founder, Saikat Chakrabarti, also founded an LLC located outside DC, where a lot of the money of the first two was being funneled, about $1 million worth (it seems to have stopped since being exposed in the press). LLC's don't have to report the sources of their money or even do full financial disclosures.
