A prediction...

The remaining candidate who woos Kamala Harris as VP will get both the nomination and the victory in November.

So who's it going to be?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

if she was his running mate. He either denies or truly does not see the white supremacy of the criminal injustice system.
My read of her perspective is that she gets it. I don't see anything but a wrong direction compromise if she were to jump aboard the Biden campaign, in which he still defends policies which have wrought damage and destruction.
Especially after she took steps to formulate plans and pledged to change a system that is the most toxic and salient manifestation of white supremacy that persists in the US today.

I said he defends a bad system. He routinely defends his contribution to a criminal justice system which also happens to be a glaring manifestation of white supremacy. If you haven't read "The New Jim Crow" and or watched Thirteenth, both lay it out pretty clearly from it's origin, escalation, and continuation. I give Kamala Harris a lot of credit for being willing to acknowledge the flaws and damage rather than try to pretend it's not a problem or defend it.

issues while AG and DA in this area. There are reasons why she didn't attract AA voters. I am tired of such attacks on Biden...unfair and untrue. Biden worked to get folks released while Vice president...and had already had reservations about the crime bill which Sanders voted for by the way...I would hope that if Sen. Harris would help the Biden ticket and kick Trump to the curb, all Democrats who want a win in 20 would be behind such a ticket...what are we to have the same sort of thing as 16 where...some don't vote for our nominee or support them without reservation. I hope not...your post is disturbing on many levels.

But I believe the VP nominee should come from a key battleground state … Stacey Abrams ? ...Andrew Gillum ? .. Sherrod Brown ? … Tammy Baldwin ? .Debbie Stabenow ? ..It's all about getting to 270

That rules out Sherrod Brown , doesn't it ? Getting a Senate Majority is almost important as winning the Presidency …..If Bernie or Elizabeth win the Presidency , we will temporarily lose a Senate seat … Is Gov. Wolfe of Pa a viable option ? ..I confess I don't know much about the fellow ….Bill Casey is pro life/ anti- choice , is he not ?.. That ain't gonna happen …..It would be great to have a VP candidate from Pa .. ……... We need a VP who can get us over the top - whether they are glamorous or not

I hope they woo her often. She deserves it. Don’t forget that she isn’t going back to any kind of normalcy. She will be a focal point in the trial and she will rise to the occasion. Support and a bit of butt kissing from our candidates will only help her. It might not have ended well here but she is about to be in her wheelhouse. That girl is on fire.

And I hope to see her write her own future rather than become VP or part of someone else's administration. I would so love to see her as lead sponsor of a collection of bills that implement the plans she laid out possibly signed by the Democrat we elect next year.

now. They wanted a strong candidate who is a woman of color (which Harris was). A lot of the appeal that Harris brought, Warren now exudes. Of the top 3 front runners, she is the youngest, arguably the smartest (not too arguable, though!), consistent and will no doubt clean the floor with Trump.
