(94,502 posts)Disabling a heckler is one thing (technically he wasn't one, since he was holding the mike and had been invited to ask a question). But managing and defusing the situation is another. Clinton and Obama were masters at this. I didn't see Biden come off that well.

The man, after the town hall was over, admitted that he was there to call for Biden to drop out. He told another attendee to "Stick it up your ass, fella" and said "let's take it outside".
How would you like to have seen Biden come off better?

You didn't see Biden come off that well because you didn't want to. Not because he didn't. Democrats need to show more righteous anger like this.
