This seems like a terrible road to go down. I'd love to see how much Liz made in those years.

Let's not pretend that it's even equivalent to knowing who is funding Pete's campaign and what he is saying at those fundraisers.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama disclosed their bundlers. Every candidate should follow their lead.

Buttigieg initially did, but he stopped doing so in April of this year. Harris updated hers every quarter.

Warren did plenty of events with high dollar Wall Street types (I attended some) and they were no different. Candidates at these events give a variation of the standard stump speech, something slightly varied based on the demographics of the audience (I was one at a lunch with VP Biden which veered into mediterranean politics since the audience was largely Greek-American). They also answer questions on broad policy issues or political strategies. The people who attend aren't there to cut deals, and $2800 doesn't buy any influence, even from the richest billionaire.

If I'm trying to win a primary though, I'm going to repeatedly ask why a 37 yr old mayor that is a donor favorite hasn't updated his list of bundlers since April and hasn't opened his fundraisers to the press. I also wouldn't be surprised if everyone also piled on like they did in regards to Warren's MFA plan.

It's up to his campaign if they want to keep that line of attack.

The secrecy around the secret is often deadlier than the secret. There's no need for deflection. Just say no and let that be it. Liz did.

Ms Smith is reaching. And she likely doesn’t want Warren’s transparency because she doesn’t want her candidate to be then obliged to produce some records they stopped revealing in April.

https://ballotpedia.org/Lis_Smith

Lis Smith began working on campaigns shortly after graduating from Dartmouth College. She was a field representative in South Dakota for then-Sen. Tom Daschle's unsuccessful re-election campaign in 2004 and press secretary for Sen. Claire McCaskill's (D-Mo.) first campaign in 2006.

In 2012, Smith was the rapid response director for Barack Obama's (D) presidential campaign. During the campaign, Forbes considered her one of "the essential people to follow on Twitter," saying:

“The Obama campaign’s director of rapid response, Lis Smith, is not afraid to take the gloves off on Twitter. She uses her feed to, well, rapidly respond to the news. Smith also gets points for interacting. She often mentions others in her tweets and sometimes gets into multiple tweet disputes with people she disagrees with, which are always fun to watch. ”

The New York Times noted that Smith's rapid response tweets "were a big reason that the campaign was able to define Mitt Romney before he could define himself."

Ten years of tax returns and all Warren's corporate work is her campaign site.

Tax Returns: https://elizabethwarren.com/tax-returns/
Corporate Advisories: https://elizabethwarren.com/legal-work/#expert

How are payments more than 10 years old, comparable to donations received by Pete this year? In what conceivable would such payment's influence Warren's exercise of the presidency?

If Buttigieg has received outsized contributions, sourced back to Private Equity firms, that should be on the record.

Instead, in some more recent interviews, Mr. Buttigieg has sought to play down his McKinsey years, telling one reporter, “It’s not something that I think is essential in my story.”

But that is inconsistent with the manner in which Mr. Buttigieg has chosen to present himself to voters, as a candidate with roots in the private sector. Those three years at McKinsey represent Mr. Buttigieg’s only substantial claim on such experience.

The McKinsey experience also looms large because Mr. Buttigieg is running on a short résumé. Those three years account for fully 20 percent of his post-college career.

The Times reported this week that the consulting firm has advised the Trump administration on the logistics of its cruel crackdown on immigration. McKinsey also has offered its services as a consultant to brutal and corrupt governments and state-owned enterprises in other countries, including China, Russia and Saudi Arabia.

Pete's bundlers weren't even on my radar until this off the wall response.

Sometimes just saying "No" or ignoring the "attack" is the best option. Don't make the main subject a topic of discussion. I don't see why his campaign thinks it remotely benefits him to have this become a multi day story since the Warren campaign, or the candidate herself, is sure to respond and this is no doubt going to come up in the debates now.
