I'm supporting Biden because
I want to beat Trump. Period. End of story. Biden doesn't inspire me. He's older than the person I think could inspire millions of youth and present the generational change that the party should represent but let's face it- an Obama or Bill Clinton isn't saving us this time I'll leave my progressive purity at home this time. Policy papers, intellectual positions on policy issues be damned. There is one candidate that poll after poll after poll shows beating Trump and vastly expanding the map ( from Florida to Arizona) and it's Biden and the trend is consistent. Presidential elections are typically not won on policy papers but are personality contests. Biden WILL beat Trump. Then others MIGHT. Our Democracy isn't worth risking this time.

1. I'm supporting Biden because I want a president.
We've had a racist, narcissistic felon for three years. I want a president who can heal this country an re-unite us. The Trumpists are lost. There are many more who can come around.
To bring us back together, I want a president who remembers Camelot. To fight climate change I want a president who remembers the hope of the space program. To bring about healing I want a president who remembers the struggle of the civil rights movement. And lastly I want an empathetic president who has cried over losing loved ones and healed his heart through service to his country. I want to be proud of a president again. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden |

2. From that perspective the question is which candidate has the best chance in red or purple states?
Since it is the electoral college that effectively will determine the next president

3. Been saying for a long time
Folks need to focus on who can beat trump. Biden can win enough states to beat trump. That's truly all that matters.

5. Yawn
Pete beats Trump head to head also in every poll. Pete will have zero issues beating Trump. This theory that Joe is the only one to beat Trump is wearing old and the only thing Joe has going for him. My bet is any of the candidates would beat Trump - some might be a little closer than others but America is tired and sick of Trump. This could actually be a time we could get a real left leaning candidate elected like Sanders or Warren I live in PA. My first choice is Pete but by the time it comes to PA there will probably be 2 candidates left. My vote will be for whoever has the best chance to beat Biden for the nomination. If its Pete, Sanders, Warren, Amy I don't care. Biden is already talking about serving one term. What the hell is that? The President has major advantages running for reelection. I want someone I can count on for 8 years and not risk giving the Presidency back to Republicans in 4 more years. ![]() primary today, I would vote for: Undecided |

12. Pete won't win a primary with the lack of AA support nor will he win a general in IMHO.
He shouldn't be our nominee with no AA support.

13. That is untrue...Biden said unequivocally he would not make a one term promise...
nor should he...this is a hit job by politico with the usual unnamed (fake) sources).

8. Welcome aboard. Actually, Joe does inspire me and I like his progressive policies.
It is about beating Trump, but at the end of the road I believe he will move America forward to progressive pathways.
