I've long been an anti-corruption voter. I'm adding focus to support Med4All.

It’s time. Most Dems want it as a goal, but, probably feel personally unprepared to take it on. Every change has a transition phase. We should all AT LEAST be in support of transitioning towards a system that covers everyone and stop validating the propagandists pretending that it can’t be done at all.

UMass CEO Eric Dickson backs Medicare for All, calls plan ‘bold, courageous’

And one of the major stumbling blocks of the Warren plan, its cost — some experts have said the $20.5 trillion cost is too low, calculating costs as up to $34 trillion — is something that Dickson said is essentially a wash for him and other large employers.

“We spend $140 million a year on our employees’ health insurance,” Dickson said. “If the government were to tax me $140 million a year and give all of our employees insurance, I’m neutral ... With no new costs, we could pay that to the government and then we could move to a single-payer system.”

Us older Dems need to think about our children being able to afford any healthcare in the future.

Also, many of us on Social Security need his support for better benefits.

MFA & Social Security increases help all of us immensely!

Transitioning TOWARDS universal coverage should be the goal of ALL Dems, and even those now choosing to be disingenuous about it. Including those on the left attacking Warren for a transition period, when ANY m4all plan would include a transition period.

2. No doubt two of the biggest public policy problems we face as a nation:

The ownership of so many of our lawmakers and officials by Big Business, and all the self-dealing and conflicts of interests by both.

And of course our runaway health care costs.

If anyone can ever effectively tackle both, they deserve a sainthood.
