i am looking forward to stephani ruhle's interview w bloomie.

i still have an open mind on bloomberg, but if we loved beto for taking on guns, we ought to at least give him a listen. (and treat him as du rules require.)

i know some people dont like ruhle, but she is my gal. i love her.
they are friends, she worked for him for 5 years. she knows him well, and knows how his actions affected her city on a very gritty level.
i think you all should listen to what she has to say.

i welcome him in the race. i am not thinking about voting for him. still solid ew.
but if he got the nod, i would be enthusiastic on the trail for him. and meanwhile he is beating cheato like a rented mule on my teevee.
imho, he is really everything people thought trump was, except he is the real deal.
we could def do worse.

primary today, I would vote for:

I don't, however, like Bloomberg as a presidential candidate. Billionaires need to use their wealth in more constructive ways if they really want to make a difference. However, I do think some of his ads could be helping Democrats.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

millions for gun control, millions for environmental action, millions to register voters in 2018. steve bannon has said impeachment is his fault. that right there gave me some pause. he targeted his money very well. he quietly registered voters while others were pushing on the laws. both needed to be done. he did it.

imho, much that he did in nyc on health and healthcare are a better basis for single payer than a bumper sticker.

Sometimes a wealthy person's ego takes precedent over their good intentions. I'm glad he's used his money to make a difference, though I doubt he'll ever win over the African American community.

like yesterday's chewing gum.

From Bloomberg News on December 10th:

The survey found that found Biden was supported by 51% of black voters. Senator Bernie Sanders had 13% and Senator Elizabeth Warren had 12%. Michael Bloomberg received 4%, while Pete Buttigieg, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Tom Steyer and Andrew Yang all received 2%. No other candidate obtained more than 1%. Bloomberg is the founder and majority owner of Bloomberg LP, the parent company of Bloomberg News.

It took much too long for him to apologize for "Stop and Frisk" and minorities have not forgotten.

she is hard nosed on everyone, no matter how much she likes them. she doesnt have to put on a phony "devil's advocate" costume to ask people hard questions. and she does a very good job.
she has high standards, and knows full well what would happen if she didnt bring them w her to this.

right on the line at best. I understand. There are those whom I respect greatly such that it becomes kneejerk to defend them. She has that same reflex though thus far she's pulled back before crossing the line.

I'm not as much a fan as you, though I do like her. To me, though her "devil's advocacy" gets annoying-- especially when she interrupts her guests constantly to interject with the contrarian viewpoint.

And that's why I noted the inconsistency between your OP, where you stated you were supporting Warren, but then responded "Patience grasshopper, he's got this." when responding to another poster about Bloomberg's prospects.

Perhaps you should make friends with clarity
