Fri Dec 20, 2019, 11:41 PM

Cory Booker didn't like Warren's "wine cave" attack on Buttigieg

Therein lies the risk that Booker identifies for the Democrats, that not only is very little gained from this line of attack, it also might embitter voters toward other candidates who fail the test. And as Independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders demonstrated Thursday night, that risk extends to Warren.

Seconds after Warren and Pete finished up, Sanders swooped in to boast that he is “the only candidate up here that doesn’t have any billionaire contributions,” which includes Warren. Her current presidential campaign, not her old pre-pledge Senate campaign, has accepted donations at or near the $2800 individual contribution limit from at least six billionaires.

When asked if he supports reparations for African-Americans, Biden got worked up — on a different subject. “We have 24 of every 100 children in our schools today is Hispanic,” Biden said, at a very high volume. “The idea that we are going to walk away and not provide every opportunity for them is not only stupid and immoral but is bad for America.” The moderators moved on, rather than point out that he did not respond to the question in the slightest. Interestingly, Biden’s infamous “record player” rant from September was also in response to a question about reparations.

launched on that concept and has repeatedly referred to it. But I also think most would talk about
getting the FBI back into monitoring white Supremacist groups and identifying hate crimes as acts of domestic terrorism when they fit that description, which in turn would lead to more allocating more resources to counter-terrorist activities against lone and group domestic terrorists potential and active.

64. Is that why Sanders didn't vote during the civil rights era
Fri Dec 27, 2019, 06:32 PM
Dec 2019

when he was eligible? Because neither party had an answer? Neither the Republicans arresting and even murdering civil rights activitists or the Democrats passing the voting rights acts of 1964 and 1965 and sending the National Guard to desegregate schools? And much else? Putting an end to school prayer as a violation of separation of church and state, for isntance?

Tell me, Yo. Why DIDN'T Sanders vote Democrat to establish Medicare? Why wasn't he determined to defeat the Republicans' efforts to block it? Was it because "neither side had a real clear solution" for elderly and disabled people suffering and dying for lack of healthcare?

Why DID Sanders try to destroy the ACA at the same time that the Republicans and their kleptocrat classes were? Why IS Sanders advocating for destroying NATO at the same time Trump and Putin are?

Illuminates a whole different meaning to his usual "Anyway, the Democrats (Republicans) do it too."

Imo, there's something wrong with all people with this consistent anti- liberal, anti- progressive, anti- Democratic Party pattern of repeated refusals to take stands (such easy and moral ones!) for progressive actions that were right and necessary.

In fact, I have been ever since he called for Obama to be primaried. Then, the icing on the cake with the cherry on top was his unforced endorsement of Cenk Uygur... the hater of the Democratic party and the defender of animal sexual abusers. (Yep... it's true... he actually said that bestiality was okay as long as the horse was satisfied and was able to come too.
