Honestly, what people want here, is no drama..and peace

They want competence and knowledge. Even the republicans I talk to are so tired, bone tired of the never ending drama. The candidate that gives the voter Democratic, Republican and Independent a feeling of the return to normalcy will win this. People are burned out on Trump and his never ending antics.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

There are about 30 % of voters, who are totally unreachable. They love power. You will never reach them And are they ever loud. Remember we won the voters in the last election.. We will win this, as long as we spread our influence around because we are under the auspices of the electoral college.

I am afraid we may have lost it for a while. 2010 just killed us. We just could not get it across to people how important it was to vote that mid term election. It is a problem still. I think Wisconsin is trying to write off anyone who has not voted in the last three years. But I have hope, I am ready to knock on doors windows, whatever it takes to get people out to vote.

I would agree with your assessment that people want a return to normalcy. That's why Klobuchar is my first choice for caucus night. We're already nearly knee deep in the GOP swiftboating campaign of Joe re Ukraine. You know they've got a lot more they're going to roll out. If he's the candidate I'll certainly vote for him and work to GOTV next fall, but I am sick to death of the drama thus far, mainly because I know he's a very decent man who doesn't deserve it (just like Hillary didn't deserve all the slime).

BTW, what the heck is your reference of "blueberry in tomato soup?!"

and the bill is long since due.

There won’t be any respite, even if your preferred candidate makes it to White House. It’ll be nothing but HunterBurismaArkansasBabyMama 24/7 in wingnut world and a constant ghoul watch by the MSM over the oldest President-elect ever who will immediately be labeled a lame duck.

And that’s just the media sideshow.

Meantime, actual problems, the kind that are driving the support of your implied stress-inducing candidates ie Warren and Sanders, will persist. We are headed toward a society of poor and not-poor in this country, so we may as well have a fight about it now before four more years of economic polarization sets in. Sorry if that makes for bad TV for some otherwise comfortable people out there but this primary is best not about choosing Prozac over breaking the depression because avoidance behavior won’t be the cure for what ails us.

when we all go to holiday events, there seems to be one in every crowd (crazy uncle who rants and raves over everything). Eventually people get sick and tired of the BS and nonsense and want something normal, so things can get back to normal and things can get done.

Like go figure why the senate is sitting on so many bills and not being acted upon by Moscow mitch?

Why is the so called president spending way too much time on the damn cell phone and instead, working on getting new bills on infrastructure, and other things this country needs? We certainly don't someone to bitch and moan on their damn cell phone. Enough. Get back to work.

the hell led us here as a country. Back to normal the old fashioned way for us has been to elect a Democratic President who has to spend way too much time undoing the massive backsliding mess the Republican administrations invariably leave in their wake. And we undo it in spite of their best efforts to thwart us. And then when things are starting to go well, and when our National debt is paid the Republicans come back again, BY HOOK OR BY CROOK, to fuck everything up again so they can line their pockets.

Let’s create a new normal! One where we can start fulfilling that potential our amazing forefathers had the temerity of launching. Let the Republican Party get lost in the wilderness for generations if needed. Let them eat each other instead of us. I’m for giving them all the damn rope they want to destroy themselves.
