Joe BidenCongratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!

Obama feels Sanders is unfit to battle Trump - and he has told people he might say so publicly

Former President Barack Obama has remained mostly silent through the early stages of the Democratic race to unseat Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election but that may soon change, friends and associates tell FOX Business, as avowed socialist Bernie Sanders gains in national polls and seems poised to obtain front-runner status.

The people who spoke on the condition of anonymity say Obama's preference had always been to lay low through the primaries aside from making some broad comments as he did in November of last year when, according to a report in The New York Times, the former two-term president, best known for expanding the size of government and his eponymous health care mandate, appeared genuinely worried about some of the increasingly leftist proposals being touted on the campaign trail from Sanders, the US senator from Vermont, and to some extent, Elizabeth Warren, the US senator from Massachusetts

would it really be out of character? President Obama is a moderate who is entitled to his expressed opinion.

Screw that. Bernie is great, and has a HUGE following. Even though I'm going to vote for Elizabeth Warren in the primaries, I like both her and Bernie. My husband is going with Bernie.

None of this propaganda against Bernie is going to turn one single person that knows his history and his positions against him.

I'll go check a while and see if I can find a reputable source

Edit to add:
David Shuster reported his sources said it is not true, and then Jon Fevreau weighed in

I'm not blaming you as you may not have seen how people close to Obama denied this story.

One more thing: I'm not trying to help Sanders with this. I don't like him at all.

and previous rumours about the same didn't sound convincing either.

With what kind of associates would Obama talk right now? And why would they then run to Fox of all networks to either communicate his message to influence the Dem primaries or betray his trust?

27. Remember: Use Our Energy to Sign Up New Voters

Remember, we should be using our energy to register new voters, not reacting to Right Wing efforts to divide us! I am taking registration forms to a trendy neighborhood where 20 to 30 year olds have an active bar scene on Saturday nights. This age group under votes and moves frequently so they need to register or re register. Then there are the community colleges and outdoor concerts this summer. As a retiree I have the time, how about you?
